Inviting Submissions
Hi everyone!
I'm excited to announce that we're opening submissions for the spring issue of Liminal, a digital student magazine for poetry, prose, art, and photography! If you're interested in having your work featured, please email it to liminalstudentmagazine@gmail.com.
We'll be accepting submissions until February 15th (the magazine will be out March 1st!), but please submit early so we can give your submission the time it deserves! You can expect to hear back from us about whether your work is accepted or under review within 1-2 weeks of submission.
Submission Format
For all submissions, include your name, submission title(s), and your brief biography in third person (roughly 90 words), and name your submission file Title_YourName.
Poetry & Prose
For poetry or prose, send a Google Doc link (check that viewer/commenter permissions are turned on before submitting!) with your work in a standard font (i.e. Times New Roman). Submit up to five poems in the doc with each poem on a new page. (please try not to exceed 2000 words per work)
Photography & Art
For visual submissions, please send 50-100 word blurb for each piece sharing context about the artwork or photograph.
For artwork, ensure that the file is in JPG, PNG or JPEG format with a 300 dpi minimum resolution. (2-5 MB per image, and up to 5 submissions per person) Include the title, medium used, and dimensions in your submission. For traditional (not digital) artwork, please take a photo in a well-lit area against a neutral background.
For photography, make sure your file format is JPG or JPEG with a 300 dpi minimum resolution (1920 by 1980 pixels minimum), and it should be around 2-5 MB per image, up to 5 submissions per person, and include the title of your submission.
